Nature Adventures
Our goal is to share simple tools and techniques that HSP Youth will continue to use for a lifetime.
We teach self regulation and social emotional skills.
Each camp is designed to provide tools and techniques to recenter emotional orchid systems and return our youth to nature’s healing benefits. Adventure camps incorporate nature, lots of fun and a team of HSP's to allow youth to feel heard and seen for their individual gifts.

Please have a look at our 5 Nature Adventures.
Our camp accepts 10 highly sensitive youth (please see our questionnaire on the parents page to determine if your child is a HSP) between the ages of 7-9 years of age. We have a junior mentors and accept ages 10-12. Scholarship programs are available and please send us an email to discuss your particular situation.

Overview of the 5 Adventure Camps:

There are two lead guides:
A therapist
Adventure Leader
The days activities are:
-
A morning exploration hike in nature or canoeing.
-
Each youth receives a HSP mentor (only 2 youth per mentor then a junior mentor assists).
-
These mentors are HSP's and in High School, University or recently graduated young adults. See our Mentors.
-
We will have break out moments because we believe that storytelling of how our mentors balanced school, friends or bullying, as an HSP, is an important component.
-
The youth are welcomed to ask questions. A therapist is also available to assist, as needed.
-
Picnic lunch. Due to individual dietary needs please provide a lunch for your youth.
-
The afternoon is an art project to integrate their morning nature hike or canoeing experience through color and shapes.
-
Tools and techniques shared throughout the day for rebalancing orchid systems.
We provide our adventurers with:
-EQWellness backpacks-please bring for each camp day
-Hydroflasks (we monitor hydration)-please bring for next camp day
-Organic snacks which include fruit, veggies, healthy bars(we accommodate all dietary needs)
